Good morning everyone and welcome back to the Breakroom! I wanted to take some time this Pride Month to single out some amazing, small businesses owned by members of the LGBTQ+ company. While we can perhaps find similar products mass-produced by large conglomerates, how about we focus on supporting our community. I have collected only a few companies with products available but this is by no means a complete list. Happen to know of some other businesses you want to recommend? Comment and share them so we can try to direct as many customers their way as we can!
Modica Cocktail Mixers
Love tasty cocktails at home but hate having to look up the recipes and make sure you have them all? Look up Modica for their cocktail mixers and find your new favorite drink! I think their Blueberry Lavender Lemon Drop will be your beverage of the summer.
MaisoNovo
MaisoNovo is trying to focus on offering convenient storage for soaps and shampoo in your house, and in particular is trying to focus on replacing single-use containers as we know it. They carry their own line of soaps but if you prefer your own, you might love items like their Shower Dispenser Set which can replace trying to find shelf space in your shower/tub for all of your bottles with this wall mount.
Gerrard Larriett
If you are like me, you are a pet parent who wants nothing but the best to take care of your companion. Gerrard Larriett focuses on incorporating aromatherapy in their products to take care of them on a whole other level. How about this Dog and Cat Mouthwash? If your pet’s breath gets as bad as it does with my dogs, I think you’ll be pretty excited to try something new to tackle it.
Boy Smells
Most of us are always looking for what might become our new signature scent, so why not try Boy Smells? I recently treated myself to their Exploratory Set to test out all of their regular scents, plus I got a full bottle of their Citirush Perfume and this might be my new favorite. If you need an incentive, they are donating a portion of their proceeds from this scent to The Trevor Project, so you can smell good and support a good cause at the same time!

Love cold brew coffee but can never seem to find the amount of caffeine that you are seeking? Maybe you need more than they offer, or you need a little less. On average I’m going to be an Extra Caffeine type of guy myself, never seems to be enough caffeine in the day.

Love Japanese culture and food but find it hard to get authentic snacks? Going into summer we cannot forget about taking care of our skin out in the sun and most often overlooked are our lips. I cannot tell you how many lip balms I have floating around my house in various flavors and brands and I am excited to add poppy&pout to that collection, starting with their Pomegranate Peach because that simply screams summer flavors.
Bazzle Baby
Now I might not want human children but there are certainly plenty of people there who do and I think you would get a kick out of some of the unique products with Bazzle Baby. Hands down the coolest is the Bib with Food Catcher which is not only really affordable, but so creative. I can think of a few adults who could actually use one of these when trying to eat barbecue.
